Happy weekend my AMAZING HIVERS
Hope you are doing well and having
a fantastic week, also that you are
finding things that makes you
Smile and happy 😊
I had a thing that took me by surprise, first it made me freeze up but then it made me all warm and smiling.
My grandmother on my dads side
died about 5 years ago, and then I was
going through my old phone and I
checked the voice messages, then suddenly I heard a voice I
missed so much....
MY GRANDMOTHER ❤️
It was a mix of emotions hearing
her voice, tears, smiles, the
wish to see her again.
Also a flash of memories came
rushing over me, and one thing
came to stuck in my head.
A painting that has followed my Childhood on my dads side since I
can remember, one that I looked
at and loved for so long.
It was hanging in their house living
room, then it moved to our common summer house where it was
hanging over the piano for
rest of Her years.
(I Will come back to this soon)
Then 2 years ago the summer house
got sold so first 2 summers that I
haven't seen my cousins and
aunts like I used to, cause
we didn't have the summer
house to meet up at.
This is a summer house that I took my first steps at, a place where me and
my cousins grew up meeting alot.
And even after growing up and having busy lives we always met up at our summer house when we could.
It was a blessing ❤️
We all are closer than most families
and my aunts are like extra moms,
and my cousins are like my
siblings (all by ❤️)
And we are such HUGGERS 🤗
And those who knows me can
confirm that is my favorite
thing in the world 🤗
HUGS 🤗🍑🤗
I also found another thing that I
almost forgot about but I now am
happy to say I heard again.
Before my grandfather passed away,
he and my grandmother made a voice book about their seperate childhoods
and then their life together.
Hearing both their voices and stories
is just incredleble, and they have
passed on so much to us all and
I can't be more grateful.
Hearing how things were then and
now is like night and day, but still
It is all connected in all ways.
Life and family is a blessing!

Painting
What is this about?
Do you have a painting or object that brings back more memories than
anything else? It's weard...
After the summer house got sold
I didn't see that painting again and
didn't think much of it until I
saw it in a old restaurang
Then BOOOM....
Lots of memories came over me.
Then I heard the voice message and
I was like... Why now?
Then...
Another thing happened
I was at work and a coworker said:
-"I have something for you if
you want it"
I was like... What?
Then she showed me this...
What is it? A painting she said 😳
What... How... Why?
I know you talked about this painting years ago and my parents found one
in their storage and asked if I knew anyone that might want It, and
I INSTANTLY thought of you.
They were moving and that painting would be sold or thrown away.
And guess what...
THIS IS THE PAINTING!
It is called Grindslanten
Grindslanten is a famous painting by August Malmström (1829-1901).
The motif is a number of children fighting over a penny thrown to them
as a thank you for opening the gate
for a passing carriage.
When I saw this I got tears in my
eyes and couldn’t understand
how it was possible.
Is it Faith?
So many things were happening
that it was hard to think it was
without meaning.
ANYWAY...
This painting is now hanging on my
wall in a special place where I can
see it when I come home from
work and also every time I
pass my open hallway.
Now this painting means more than
just memories, it came to me in a
way that I can't really explain.
In a time where I thought alot of my grandparents, heard their voices
again by accident, thought of
the summer house and that
painting Grindslanten.
And then it just showed up like this,
it is still hard to really understand
it all, how it got here. But I do
belive it has a meaning!
Don’t you?
〰️🖼️〰️
Another painting, well more like
wood art that is like 3d ish.
Is this one hanging on my parents
wall, also one I grew up with and
loved as it was so different.
Might be hard to see but If you touch
it, it is sticking out and the wood
work is amazing in its details.
May not look as much, just a woman making dinner for her man, but
it is special in my eyes.
Wish I knew the name of it, will ask
my parents and get back on that 😜
Pretty view right?
Probably the most touched painting
in the world I think 😁 lol
Me and my siblings done it alot
growing up but also People who
were visiting us.. is that?
Yupp 😜
So my Childhood have 2 paintings
that are forever printed in my
mind...and in the best way!
〰️🖼️〰️
My last share that is special in other
ways and also the craziest.
I actually have something in my
hand that I got same day that
I was born. Really? YUPP
What is it? Glad you asked...
A Pink TEDDY BEAR 🐻
He has been through alot over the
years and he lost one eye.
Also lost his lite tail ish, but I still
think his butt looks cute 😁 Lol
We share same Age and he is a
Teddy that I never get rid of,
he stays with me.
I know how rare it is to have things like this from your Childhood saved, but
my parents always been one to
keep the Golden things that
has value of ❤️ like this.
I just thought he was worth mentioning and mabye you to have something
that you keep close to your heart
that has special value to you.
I am not much for things and need
of having much, just the little things
that has value in my ❤️ not money
And the moments... Precious!
That was my walk through memory
lane, a precious found that turned
into lots of chain moments.
🖼️🐻😊 LOVE IT!
