I took my new Elk 2m/70cm antenna out to the causeway that runs into Lake Champlain to make some contacts. Spent about two hours at the lake and spoke the Director of the Museum of Science and Technology on Syracuse, NY, a gentleman in Oregon and a guy in traffic in San Diego, among others. Made some new friends and got to play radio on a gorgeous day on Lake Champlain!
