What do highschoolers do before Christmas in my high school? In order to bring happiness to others, Josip Slavenski Highschool in Čakovec organizes Sajam Dobrote (Fair of Goodwill) where each class sells something they make. Depending on the theme, pupils cook food, make Christmas cards, create boxes, jewelry, sell flowers and much more. The money raised is then donated to a before-chosen organization or facility in need.
It is truly a beautiful and meaningful event, which teaches students how to share and not be greedy with money. After all, money comes and goes, but doing something good for the other person is what fulfills sb's soul. :)
