feeding under a massive iceberg

70-80% of an iceberg is under the water, which is something when you look at the size of this piece of ice. It does make for a great location to forage for food when you are a hungry humpback whale. The constant behaviour of humpback whales foraging for food near, around and under large pieces of ice always means for a good starting point in search of these whales. This makes my life a tad easier to find, identify and interact with the animals, ensuring that the guests I have on board my zodiac get the experience of a lifetime.

I would be lying if it also didn't mean that it gives me a great opportunity to attempt to capture such moments. This was one photo that I completely forgot that I had until I scrolled through them yesterday.
