#1014 - San Felipe Lubong Waterfalls Shots for Wednesday.
Happy Wednesday Harmony dearest Hiveans! Whether you're buzzing through busy tasks or sipping your coffee slowly, here's a high-five for this perfectly placed Wednesday. Think of today not as a mountain peak but as a stepping stone.😉
Now for our daily shots about last Sunday about our journey to Lubong Falls in San Felipe, Zambales which began with a unique and charming ride on a carriage pulled by a young majestic water buffalo or carabao. The carriage is just a simple yet sturdy wooden and some metals kind of contraption.
After unloading from the carriage, we then walked a few meters and crossed a small stream while the sound of rushing waterfalls got louder. Then we emerged into a clearing and there it was the Lubong Falls.
Despite there's a bit of crowd, the falls managed to maintain a wonderful aura. The water coming down from the rocks with a force and was cold too on that rainy weekend. We found a spot near the base of the falls where there's some cottage for rent for around 1000 pesos. We spent our time exploring the area with the wife and few friends including a dog, taking photographs and simply relaxing in the natural beauty that surrounded us.
The crowd there was a mix of locals and tourists like us that added a lively energy to the scene with all the laughter and chatter. Despite the numbers of people there last Sunday, there was a sense of camaraderie and a shared appreciation for nature. We dipped in the refreshing pool at the base of the falls and just downstream. The experience was a perfect blend of adventure, a day well spent in the embrace of nature even during a typhoon.
