My comics shows a traditional way of making noise during the new year celebration. People back home in the Philippines use bamboo as a form of an explosive canon back in the days. Bamboo poles are cut at a certain length then hollowed. A few drops of fluid bought from the gasoline station will be put inside the bamboo then shaken and lit. A sudden explosive sound will come out on the other end of the bamboo. That is what Spiky and Cornelius are holding. They invited Super Chillie to do the ignition using his hot explosive breath.
