So… It’s been a while and I’m already tired to say that we are coming back, or that I’ll try to write more, but I really hope you’re all well. Today I’m going to share a little of us and our travels and a really nice post from my friend @mauriciovite. Kind of a 2 x 1 sale post.
If you don’t know us, we are @elteamgordo, a couple of Mexican foodies that loves to travel. Usually I’m (Eduardo) the one that writes in here. We’ve been around since 2017 (the Steemit dark era haha!), you can scroll into our content and you will find tons of original content. But we haven't been very active in the last year. But I’ll try to share as much as possible.
In case you wonder, we have been very well, healthy and have traveled a lot (for our standards). Since our travel to Los Angeles, we’ve been to the UK, Denmark, Sweden, Monterrey (a Mexican city), some Mexican beaches and little day traves near our city.
So I'll start with London. And since it was my first time there, we did some of the classic stuff, don’t judge me. As soon as we dropped our bags at our hotel, we hit the streets just to wander around. We went to the seven dials market, it’s a pretty cool neighborhood and the market has a lot of good options to eat and drink. Sorry about the pictures, but we were very tired and the market is kind of dark (for pictures purposes).
After a great meal we kept walking until we found the Thames. And saw the Elizabeth Tower, Westminster Palace, the London Eye and then went to the hotel to finally rest for the day.
The next day we wake up early and went for a walk at the Queens Mary’s Rose Gardens, then we kept walking through the Regents Park until we got to the Primrose Hill for a nice view of the city.
Then we hit Little Venice and Camden. It’s a really cool neighborhood, full of life and street art. We just walked around and enjoyed the vives. Then we went to the market, explore it a bit and had some food. The food is great there and also there are lots of options. The only thing I didn’t like is that they charge you for the restroom. For me it’s kind of weird because it’s a service I expected when I go to spend to a place. But I think that’s how is Europe now.
Then we went to the Harry Potter’s exhibition in the Warner Bros. Studios. But I leave that for another post.
Now It’s time for a little extra. Here is a little post from my friend @mauriciovite (also an old timer blogger here). He is currently not active in Hive but he is trying to grow his personal blog and I think It would be a great help to showcase him here in Hive.
