PLANE TALK No 4-1/2 Stanley Jumbo Smoother Restoration, Part 4 and Lie-Nielsen Comparison.
Tote & knob were touched up and added some fresh top coat.
My motto in restoration is: "Less is more" if you are looking to get the tool back to work.
In this video I wanted to also share some comparisons to buying a new High End plane like the Lie-Nielsen 4-1/2. Compare functionality, prices and which I would recommend.
