On 24th of April 1964, sergeant Lonnie Zamora was following a suspect in the desert in New Mexico, USA, when he heard a loud roar and saw a flame in the sky. Suspecting the explosion might have been the result of an accident at a nearby dynamite store, he broke off to investigate. He saw a large, shiny object on the ground and two figures dressed in white. He stopped to take a closer look, but the figures disappeared. Then he heard the roar, a blue flame sparked underneath the object, and it rose into the air. Zamora took cover and watched as the smooth, round vehicle sped across the desert at high speed. When a fellow officer arrived on the scene, he noted that Zamora was in shock, the dirt was disturbed and a bush was still burning.

Holy Sh!t
Several other witnesses reported seeing the egg-shaped object and it's bluish flame, including a family whose car it had flown low over. Other's heard the "roar" from a nearby town. Sand in the area had been turned into glass from extreme heat. An Air Force investigation failed to come to any conclusions, noting that Zamora was an unusually convincing witness.
