स्पेस अनंत है और इसमें पाए जाने वाले ग्रह और तारो की संख्या भी इतनी ज्यादा है की उसे गीनपना असंभव है. प्लेनेट नाइन उसी में से एक रहस्यमय ग्रह है जिसका अश्तित्व हमारे सौरमंडल में पाया गया है. नासा के वैज्ञानिकों के अनुसार इसका द्रव्यमान पृथ्वी के द्रव्यमान से १० गुना ज्यादा है, और नेपट्यून और सूर्य की बीच की जितनी दूरी है उससे २० गुना ज्यादा प्लेनेट नाइन और सूर्य के बीच की दूरी है. इसका द्रव्यमान पृथ्वी से ज्यादा हो सकता है लेकिन युरेनस और नेपट्यून से ज्यादा नहीं है.
प्लेनेट नाइन हमारे सौरमंडल में स्थित है, इसका प्रमाण ५ अलग-अलग व्याख्याओं के द्वारा किया गया है. इसलिए इस ग्रह के न होने का कोई सवाल ही पैदा नहीं होता है. पहले प्लूटो को हमारे सौरमंडल का नौवां ग्रह माना जाता था, लेकिन २००६ में ग्रह की परिभाषा बदल गयी और नयी परिभाषा के अनुसार इसे इंटरनेशनल एस्ट्रोनॉमी यूनियन ने ग्रह की पदवी से हटा दिया.

According to NASA scientists, its mass is 10 times more than the mass of Earth, and the distance between Planet Nine and Sun is 20 times more than the distance between Neptune and the Sun. Its mass can be higher than Earth but not more than Uranus and Neptune.
Planet Nine is located in our solar system and 5 different explanations are given to prove its existence there. Therefore, no questions should arise regarding the existence of Planet Nine. Formerly Pluto was known as the ninth planet in our solar system, but in 2006 the definition of the planet changed and by the new definition it was removed from the planet's title by the International Astronomy Union.
