Game Programmer
-- Responsible for behind the scenes. Developing things like: AI, gameplay, networking, graphical details, physics, UI, mechanics, and tools for the others responsible for the project.Game Designer
-- Responsible for thinking about the game before and during development, especially while it's still an idea. He will think about how the systems will work, elaborate the player's interaction in the game, the direction in a general aspect, the levels, world and the economy.Artist
-- Creates all the art in the game, whether it's 2D or 3D (there are 2D specialists, and there are 3D specialists, so to speak), concept art, textures, ambiance, structures, UI and even visual effects.animator

There are also professions indirectly linked to the product, such as personnel responsible for marketing, HR, finance, administration, analysts, content personnel, customer service and the web.
In the end, I like to say that the development of a game unites everything and everyone in a single compilation, made by a multidisciplinary team with countless different heads thinking about the same objective, to make a game that is enjoyable for all players. It's a huge area with room for everyone, and I've never heard a news report saying that the market has retreated. It's really an area that I identify with and I'm proud to be a part of!

Olá pessoal, hoje resolvi trazer um pouco sobre o meu mundo, o desenvolvimento de jogos. Mas para um conteúdo um pouco mais elaborado e educativo é necessário mais tempo. Então hoje vou apenas abordar de algumas carreiras que são possíveis seguir no meio do desenvolvimento de um jogo. São eles…

Game Programmer
-- Responsável pela parte por trás dos panos. Desenvolvendo coisas como: IA, jogabilidade, detalhes gráficos, física, UI, mecânicas e ferramentas para os outros responsáveis pelo projeto.Game Designer
-- Responsável por pensar no jogo antes e durante o desenvolvimento, principalmente enquanto ainda é uma ideia. Ele que vai pensar em como os sistemas vão funcionar, elaborar a interação do jogador no jogo, a direção num aspecto geral, os níveis, mundo e a economia.Artist
-- Cria toda a arte no jogo, seja 2D ou 3D (existem especialistas em 2D, e outros em 3D, por assim dizer), artes conceituais, texturas, ambientação, estruturas, UI e até efeitos visuais.Animator
-- Também considerado um artista, ele lida especificamente com as animações no jogo, sendo + presente no 3D, lidando com personagens e efeitos visuais.Producer
-- Lida com o todo, responsável pelo andamento geral do projeto, unindo todas as partes com um quadro geral e orientando para que o projeto não saia do trilho (é muito fácil um projeto sair do trilho :p). Lida também com o lado organizacional, como datas de lançamento, plataformas que o jogo vai ser lançado e os contratos, além de normalmente cuidar do estúdio como um todo.Audio Designer
-- Responsável pela composição e manipulação de todo o som no jogo. De trilhas sonoras inteiras até pequenos efeitos sonoros e falas.QA (Quality Assurance)
-- Vai garantir a qualidade do software, testando e forçando testes de stress em todas as pontas do projeto, além de comunicar o time sobre problemas como performance e comportamentos estranhos.
Também existem profissões ligadas indiretamente ao produto, como o pessoal responsável pelo marketing, RH, financeiro, administrativo, analistas, pessoal de conteúdos, atendimento ao cliente e web.
No fim, gosto de afirmar que o desenvolvimento de um jogo une tudo e todos em um único compilado, feito por uma equipe multidisciplinar com inúmeras cabeças diferentes pensando no mesmo objetivo, fazer um jogo prazeroso para todos os jogadores. É uma área imensa com espaço para todos, e que nunca ouvi uma notícia dizendo que o mercado recuou. É realmente uma área a qual me identifico e tenho orgulho de fazer parte!
