A few days ago the 60 days (it was a little less in the end) of DHF funding for Podping came to an end. At the very end of July, we had another Podcast Host join Podping:

And at the end of last week, Dave Jones from @podcastindexorg (@podcastindex) attended the Podcast Movement conference in Nashville. He was there evangelising all aspects of Podcasting 2.0 and had many conversations about @podping with the biggest hosts and apps in the podcasting world.
3speak
Podping is also being used by 3speak because every one of their shows is a video podcast now. This hasn't been properly explained but on Tuesday afternoon, @brianoflondon will be live-streaming and recording a show with @taskmaster4450 and @jongolson and revealing a lot more information about what he's been doing linking Podcasting 2.0's Value 4 Value streaming Sats on the Lightning network to automatic Hive payments for creators on @threespeak.com0
Funds
The funds paid out by the DHF have mostly been converted to Hive and powered up on the @podping account or put into savings as HBD. After a lot of review and learning much more about the coming Hive Application Framework from @blocktrades Dan (more still to learn) it is clear that running full API nodes isn't necessary for Podping. As and when it becomes clear what can be done with an HAF, that's the direction Podping will go. A small amount was sent to @splinterlands as SPS to hodl there and support that project too.
In addition it was agreed to pay @alecksgates HBD 1000 for his work on containerising and refactoring @brianoflondon's code and get it into a deployable shape. At the moment the only main deployment of Podping is run by @podcastindex directly with an additional deployment in use by @threespeak (set up by @brianoflondon). The containerised version will bring Podping to a wider array of possible hosts.
Live notifications
The next iteration of Podping will include the start of a cross platform, cross app "going live" notification system.
The future
For now Podping isn't seeking any further funding from the DHF and is hodling most of the Hive! However @brianoflondon is looking into another funding request to accelerate and secure the Podcasting 2.0 Lightning Network sats to Hive automatic bridge. More on this on the Tuesday podcast/video with @jongolson and @taskmaster4450.
