Welcome to a new and wonderful week! Your spooky Ghosty Writer here! I hope everyone has had a delightful weekend and are ready for another seven days of lovely collaborations! And maybe a couple more posts from just me at the moment as I do have quite the hoarder's stash of poetry and fictions to share with you!
Today I am bringing you three love-y love poems that I have had hidden away. You all shall be the debut audience! I hope you enjoy them and it touches you somewhere deep inside. Spread the love, it is infectious!
And as always, we look forward to your feedback!

And just out of reach.
Hands on your back.
Ripping at you
In desperation.
Pulling you, in greed.
Watching from the end of my own tether
and shedding silent tears.
So close.
So far.
Fingertips brushing the outside air.
Longing to be free.
Bidding time
With reluctant compliance.
And I saw through the bindings
When eyes are turned.
Inching and stretching.
Waiting for the
snap.
Whispering unheard words
Of comfort.
Of relentless, ruthless love.
Ready to catch every burning tear
And forge them into promise
"Never again."
In you
I see shimmering shards.
Facets that turn.
Perfectly cut into the gem
That is your soul.
Endlessly shifting
And catching light.
To me, you are a prism.
A full spectrum of all
The things
That I adore
Flawlessly flawed.
Raw.
But still touched by man.
Priceless.
Immeasurable.
Heavy and weighted.
But light as a feather
When I carry you with me.
Jewels pale in comparison
To your spirit.
And watching it flicker
In spotlights.
Candles.
Sunsets.
Some moments I see you pause
With a sideways glance.
Watching me.
Watching you.
Looking to see
If I look away.
If I am afraid
Of the things you could give me.
If I am afraid of
The intensity of your love.
I would let you shackle
And hide me away
As long as
You held the keys.
Build a world
Behind castle walls.
That was just our own.
I will never fear
What I willingly embrace.
As always thank you for reading and we hope you like what we brought to the blockchain today! Please leave your feedback in the comments! We love to hear it!!
Much love, @sammosk and Company <3
