Did the ancient Egyptians perform autopsies during the process of mummification of their Pharaohs? Were they trying to figure out what made them so much closer to Ra than their subjects? Did the ruling class have a large mass of the pineal gland, aka the Thrid Eye? And to honor their sacrifice they were buried with all the riches they held most dear. Did the Pharaohs chose what items they would need in the afterlife?
Does anyone still believe we die at night to be born again each morning with the knowledge of our past life? Is that reincarnation in a way?
