This is my final day in the month long odyssey that has been the Month of Daily Haiku Challenge. Lol, this self imposed challenge has taken me through highs and lows, starting by exploring natural environments, then man vs nature, before moving on to traditional Haiku, and finally technology. These themes have kept me interested and provided a decent structure in this poetic exploration of my thoughts.
Ha ha, but for this last day I just wanted to be a bit silly and have some fun. So as I looked at various pictures on Pixabay I decided to pick the ones that jumped out at me for reminding me of certain aspects of steemians I've interacted with on the steem blockchain and write a poem in tribute to them. Please don't shoot the messenger if you don't get my sarcastic Brit humor.... I channel the spirit of a dead gurkha to populate the marrow that runs through my slightly crazy funny bone. It's not my fault... honest π
For those people who don't know, a Haiku is a traditional form of Japaneses poem that doesn't need to rhyme but must follow a strict syllabic structure. Each line must contain a set amount of sylablles like so:
