Hello. Here is another Pokemon TCG post. Huntail, Gorebyss and Team Rocket's Tyranitar are featured from the Team Rocket Set in Japan.
Clamperl
Clamperl is a Basic 60 HP Water Pokemon with 2 retreat cost and Lightning weakness. The attack is not very good. You need Clamperl in order to evolve into either Huntail or Gorebyss.
Clamperl also has an illustration rare version of the card. It is quite beautiful. Easily at least 10 CAD in price when it releases in English.

Huntail
Huntail is the Stage 1 evolved form of Clamperl. The Hydro Splash attack is cost a bit of Energy at one Water and 2 Colourless Energy to deal 80 damage.
The Diver Catch ability activates whenever 1 of your Water Pokemon is Knocked Out by damage from an opponent's Pokemon attack. You may put all Basic Water Energy attached to that Pokemon into your hand instead of the discard pile. This ability preserves Water Energy into your hand upon knockout.
Gorebyss
Gorebyss is the other Stage 1 evolution for Clamperl.
Its only attack is Crescendo Wave. The base requirement for its attack is one Water Energy. This attack deals 30 damage for each Water Energy attached to itself. What makes this attack interesting is this optional effect where you can attach any number of Basic Water Energy from your hand to this Pokemon for this attack. This is similar to Baxcalibur with its Super Cold ability.

You do need a lot of Water Energy in order to do giant one hit Knockouts. Six Water Energy from hand is needed to deal 180 damage that can one hit knockout Mew ex or Squawkabilly ex. Seven Water Energy from hand to deal 210 damage which knocks out popular Basic Pokemon ex like Fezandipiti ex, Teal Mask Ogerpon ex.

Team Rocket's Larvitar & Pupitar
Team Rocket's Larvitar is a Basic 70 HP Pokemon with one retreat cost and Grass weakness. The Mountain Munch attack does not deal to much damage at 10 damage. Discarding the top card of the opponent's deck can be useful. You can potentially discard the opponent's Item card, Special Energy, Stadium or even ACE SPEC card.
The evolved form is Team Rocket's Pupitar. Some Pokemon have this Ascension attack where it deals 0 damage but you can evolve the Pokemon (search for Evolution from deck then evolve). This Pupitar does 30 damage and then evolve. It is a rare and unique attack.
Team Rocket's Tyranitar
Team Rocket's Tyranitar is the Stage 2 final evolution of Team Rocket's Larvitar. The Breakthrough Tackle requires a lot of Energy at one Fighting Energy and 3 Colourless Energy. The Team Rocket's Spidops plus a Team Rocket Energy does help in meeting the Energy cost requirement for its attack. Breakthrough Tackle deals 180 damage plus discard 1 Energy from the opponent's Active Pokemon.
The Sand Stream ability is interesting. It is comparable to the move Sandstorm from the Pokemon video game. As long as Team Rocket's Tyranitar is in the Active Spot you deal 2 damage counters to each of your opponent's Basic Pokemon during Pokemon Checkup. Note that Pokemon Checkup is in between turns.
Most single prize Stage 2 Pokemon are hard to get into play and are not used much. I think this one is one of the many.
