🇬🇧THE WARREN ROCKS - LABIRYNTH IN THE TABLE MOUNTAINS
The labyrinth is located in the Table Mountains⛰️ National Park at an altitude of 853 meters above sea level and encompasses an area of 21 hectares. It is located between Kudowa-Zdroj and Karlow, near the Polish-Czech border. 🇵🇱🇨🇿
According to legend, the Warren Rocks (until recently known as the Wolf Pits) owe their shape to the wrath of the mountain spirit Liczyrzepa. Thanks to him, the flat sandstone mountain broke up into rock blocks🪨.
The rock labyrinths of the Table Mountains were formed in the erosion of sandstone lifted from the sea tens of millions of years ago.
Based on photographs📷 of the Warren Rocks, the film🎥 crew of Andrew Adamson, director of "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian," built the scenery for the film in a studio in New Zealand🇳🇿. Several scenes were also shot in the Table Mountains.
🇵🇱BŁĘDNE SKAŁY - LABIRYNT W GÓRACH STOŁOWYCH
Labirynt położony jest na obszarze Parku Narodowego Gór Stołowych⛰️ na wysokości 853 m n.p.m. i obejmuje powierzchnię 21 ha. Znajduje się między Kudową-Zdrojem a Karłowem, w pobliżu granicy polsko-czeskiej. 🇵🇱🇨🇿
Według legendy swój kształt Błędne Skały ( do niedawna zwane Wilczymi Dołami) zawdzięczają gniewowi ducha gór Liczyrzepy. Za jego sprawą płaska piaskowcowa góra rozpadła się na skalne bloki🪨.
W rzeczywistości skalne labirynty Gór Stołowych powstały w procesie erozji piaskowca wyniesionego z morza kilkadziesiąt milionów lat temu.
Na podstawie fotografii📷 Błędnych Skał, ekipa🎥 Andrew Adamsona, reżysera “Opowieści z Narnii: Książę Kaspian”, zbudowała scenografię do filmu w studiu w Nowej Zelandii🇳🇿. Kilka scen zostało nagranych również w Górach Stołowych.
