There are some key issues oriented around hate that Republicans have always been unified around and Democrats tend to waiver between flimsily supporting and just joining republicans:
Welfare. Democrats aren't united in anger fighting for welfare the same way Republicans are fighting against it.
Abortion. Democrats aren't fighting against Anti-Abortionists with the same fervor that anti-constitutionalists are fighting against R v W.
Wages. Democrats are afraid to talk about lifting up the bottom and demanding living wages for all Americans. I said higher living wages not minimum wage. That means for everyone on the bottom.
Universal Healthcare. Lots of corporate Democrats are enjoying Monsanto and Humana kickbacks. Lots of Americans are drowning in Medical Debt with more than 60% of all bankruptcies being medical bills.
War on Drugs. Democrats are afraid of supporting legalization of marijuana and ending the practice of Profit-Prisons. We also need to end the practice of funding city spending by using police to fish for small infractions with undercover stings on every street corner looking to play "Gotcha!" cards everywhere they can. Civil Extortions as a funding method is theft (unlike taxation, which is not theft).
