The judge originated in 1969 and became really famous thanks to an advertisement. For his presentation, an entry sentence was taken from a sketch of the Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In program, in which the actor Sammy Davis Jr. played a character disguised as a judge who repeatedly pronounced the phrase "Here's come The Judge" ("Here comes the Judge").
