Recently I've been doing maybe the biggest culture exchange travel project of my life while (re)connecting (with) people on my way from Croatia to Morocco & back on the wings of my Twingo jet-plane-house. This shot I made in Almeria, Spain where I stopped to rest a bit while heading to Morocco. 😎

Maui - I'm not sure if his name is written like this but it looks cool. It looks exotic - like Hawaiian - & he is German! I remember in the movie "Cheech & Chong Up In Smoke" - they are smoking a Hawaiian strain of cannabis & they call it Maui Wowie. He was also 33 years old, like I was when we met on the beach in Almeria, Spain where I was selling my wooden necklaces & playing some music on the walkabout... There I also had accommodation via Couch surfing at Mr. Klaus' apartment - who was also German but living over 20 years in Spain. Maui was travelling around Europe for the last 2-3 years only walking or hitchhiking without money, volunteering sometimes somewhere for accommodation & food or working when he really needs some money. That day we spent together working in the street & sharing every little thing we got. Another interesting thing in numbers is that I was born on the 22nd & his lucky number is 22! When the evening came, I asked Klaus if it's OK that we host Maui too for the night & we met for a beer & tapas in Klaus' favorite place "La Tasquilla" where I introduced them to each other & then they spoke in German & Klaus approved Maui staying at his place for the night... I also interviewed Maui & it will be published also soon & it will be part of my documentary! We even shared the bed that night at Klaus' place! Maui is one of the greatest people I met during the voyage! I miss him!
