Hoy les hablaré un poco de ésta característica.

Sucede con frecuencia con el calzado. En ocasiones, cuando dejamos nuestros zapatos a un lado al llegar a casa, ella va y mete sus dos patas delanteras dentro del zapato y se posa sobre ellos. Confieso de que es gracioso verla acomodarse toda encima de él. Parece de que realmente cree que es una gata pequeña y podrá estar completamente encima de él sin tocar el suelo. Ésta costumbre hace que a veces perdamos tiempo buscando cosas. Por ejemplo, sólo tenemos una pantufla, y empezamos a buscarla. "¿Dónde estará? ¿Dónde la dejé? Tengo sólo una". Pero es tan anormal la situación que sospechamos de la indiferencia de la gata que nos ve en la faena. Hasta que la movemos un poco de su lugar y ¡bingo! está debajo de ella. La estaba ocultando.

En otras ocasiones, también quiere estar muy cerca de uno mientras realizamos algunas actividades pasivas físicamente, como escribir, leer y estudiar. Ella quizás piense que estamos haciendo algo divertido, y quiere "ayudarnos". Pero al verla, agradecemos que no sea un ser humano y esté tratando de ver lo que escribimos, o quizás intentar corregirnos. ¿Se imaginan un profesor en la escuela que sea tan insistente que se coloque al lado nuestro de forma similar? Sería intimidante.
