Hello everyone, I welcome you all once again to my blog and I am very excited to write and share this interesting topic with you all. I am glad to be back active in blogging and today I would like to write and share with you all educational and I would share my point of view or perspective about education with you so kindly stay tuned to learn something new.
We all agree with the fact that Education is a vital part of one's life although without it one can be successful as well but the opportunity will be limited. It helps in shaping and modeling an individual in a better manner which tends to shape the society and the world at large. If all people in the world were educated about the effects of all these mischievous acts, the world would have been a peaceful place to be.
Education doesn't only come with the formal aspect, the informal aspect too is very vital. We need to understand that education isn't just about acquiring knowledge, it encompasses critical thinking, communication skills, fostering creativity as well as problem-solving skills. Every individual deserves a quality education even if not quality but should be at least educated to a certain level. Sadly, we see some parents undervalue education to the extent of stopping their children from schooling especially when they get to the High School level.
Education inculcates learning behaviors into an individual and this can help one go beyond expectations, as an educated individual you will always have the vision to learn something new by exploring new things and how to do things. As far as education is important, we need to also put up a good curriculum that will benefit the pupils at the end of the day.
Especially in Ghana here, our education system is very poor and this is because it is designed such that one is educated or taught to learn and pass the final exams and that's all. Getting good grades doesn't qualify you to be highly educated, it is high time we change the educational policy and put in place policies or curricula that will train students and also teach them practical knowledge aside from the theoretical base we do see always.
What differentiates an educated person from an illiterate should be the fact that the educated person should have all the necessary skills and knowledge to handle or manage a project. Sometimes we do say common sense can be used in everything but trust me, there are certain things that one can't comprehend to do without being educated. The fact that we value education, we should equally value those that impact the knowledge onto us, that is the tutors and educators. They deserve to be respected, loved and obeyed to the highest level because they are indeed doing a great job. Without a teacher, the other profession will have been collapsed.
