We have all had a first time, when we started school, when we learned to walk, when we went out on our own for the first time. Anyway, thinking about it all brings back many memories of past experiences and some more recent ones, so I will share some of them
Among the things I remember most was a trip to a youth camp, I don't remember if it was national or regional, the site chosen for that camp was the place known as Campamento Vacacional Los Caracas, a place that was very famous, where many used to go to spend vacation seasons.

I remember I was 12 years old and my mother let me attend under the care of another young girl from the church who was older than me, I was only 11 or 12 years old. I was happy, as I was surrounded by young people of all ages and at the beach.
I remember many games, the beautiful worship services and when we did not swim at the beach, I was just happy to enjoy what would be that week, but if I remember correctly the second or third day I noticed a rash all over my body, I let the girl who was taking care of me know so they took me to the medical service, because we thought it was some kind of allergic reaction, but it turned out to be chickenpox which is called in Venezuela lechina.
As expected they called my mother to come and pick me up, because logically I could not continue there, first for my well being and that of the other young people, those who have suffered from this disease know that it is contagious when the blisters are falling, I was furious and sad, but that first trip without the presence of my parents or any direct family member was just awesome for me.

Now, for the year 2012, if I remember correctly I made my first trip as a proxy of the institute for which I work, I was very nervous, because it was an experience that I had not lived and that trip involved a part by plane and the other by land, I remember that before leaving I was advised by the proxies who had years traveling and they told me what I should do.
It was quite an experience, because I had not taken a plane for years and then to find a cab to take me to the place of the signing without its price being astronomical, but it was really a pleasant experience that made me lose my fear and be the pioneer of the new proxies, especially because it was a trip in which I had to stay one night and it was the beginning of about two years or more in which I traveled through many states and cities of the country.

On the other hand, my first traumatic time in terms of travel had to do or originated thanks to a confusion of the departure time of a flight and I missed it, so I had to be almost all day at the airport to sign up on a waiting list for the next flight and once also happened to me that the travel agency was wrong with the date of the trip so I had to stay an extra day in a city which generated more expenses than expected.
In conclusion, these are some of my first experiences in terms of travel, so I'm leaving here my participation in Hive Naija Weekly Prompt | Edition 94
