Today, I'm super excited to talk about something that's been allways hard to decide in the crypto world - the best advertising networks for crypto projects.
I want to start series of posts each about of ad network i used for crypto advertising, i will introduce you to several networks that i used in past several years, i also add my exprience with them for you too!
Number one is ofcourse CoinZilla, CoinZilla was been in the crypto ad industry for a long time and has pretty much long list of publishers including premium places, you can send your banners directly in bscscan, also in their market place you can do press release in some best crypto news coverage websites like cointelegraph! as much as CoinZilla provides premium traffic cost of the ads in the network is pretty much premium too 😅
You have two options in this network going with campaings, or directly selecting a publisher in Marketplace with diffrent categories, but i suggest you to only aim for press release in marketplace.
You can start a campaing with three diffrent ad model:
Display ads: It is basically banner ads, you setup a banner campaing and can provide banners with various typical banner sizes, like skyscrapper or leaderboard, also not all sizes are supported by coinzilla, during campaing setup you have to first choose for type of traffic you need, between two types:
Premium traffic: CoinZilla defines this traffic is "Best for projects that need high-value customers that are ready to convert."
Brandawarness traffic: CoinZilla defniens this traffic is "Best for projects looking to reach new users and increase their popularity."
Also below their buttons you can download pdf list of each traffic type publishers. when i looked inside the lists of publishers for these two types of traffic, i found that terms "Premium' and "Brand awarness" is a bit missleading! althought premium list is really premium but it much more about your perspective of what is premium! and choosing prmium traffic by all means doesn't mean that it will convert for you! these two lists of publishers both can be actully exremely premium and nice for conversion and brand awarness, depends on type of crypto project you are working on it. in brandawarness list there are mostly free faucet sites, crypto paid to click websites, or crypto offerwalls! so depends on the project you work on, you get stick to this list or extremely avoid it, many sites in brandawarness websites, aren't much repetutional! even some people have alergy and negative comments when they see faucets, or offers... even if they are actually good and paying. this is why i think calling it brandawarness is a bit missleading since this can be brand awarness in completely negative way for your brand to be seen in sites which for ex claim you can earn 1 Dash with each click but truth is in all possible scenarios you never can cashout from some of those, also many faucets learned it to keep increasing threshold of withdrawals when users grow their refs, or earnings to make sure they never can withdraw!! althought they are some good names in the list too like coinpayu but as i said it is heavely based on type of your crypto project.
After selecting traffic type in next step you need to define your pricing model. which despite CoinZilla claims over being inutive not much of options you can select here! it is actually very basic, you need to define your CPM price, if you selected premium min cpm price is 3€ and highest current bid is 19€, and for brandawarness min cpm is 0.2€ and max bid is 5€ at time of writing this post, althought you can set to max 20€ for both trafic types to get sure all publishers are covered, yet CoinZilla doesn't define that how your bid will be divided to publishers, you can also set your Caping and how fast the ad delivers, evenly hourly or fast. next step you will select your targeting.
In Targetting section you again won't find much of options, very classic and for some people who needs exact targets is pretty much limitted. here you can select Countires, Device types which is only Desktop and Mobile, and Zones, Zones can be spots on the publisher website which you want to allow or exclude or complete publisher, you can add ids, or publisher website address from premium or brand awar list pdf you downloaded in first step! and in next step you add your banners and sumiting your campaing for approval.
Till now I covered Display ads campaing type, there is two more
Popunder which all same as display ads except you can't select traffic type, and don't need to provide banners.
Native ads is also same in terms of its setting, except you can select to aim website native ads, or app native ads. and in last phase you have ot provide information that will be dispalayed in your native ad.
My exprience with CoinZilla was good, the time i used CoinZilla (2021) they didn't kyc users(Note: they have kyc) and wasn't this large and this expensive! yet traffic for me was converting good, but there are some critical measures you must keep in your mind, for brandawarness traffic good practise is to start at minimum CPM, that is, most of publishers in the list in my idea don't even worth that 0.2$! you must be aware that brand awarness publishers occasionally use to promote their sites with ad networks like coinzilla, so if you setup high cpm and a publisher in brand awarness list buys ex: popunder traffic for its site, from a super cheap network ending up draining up your all budget for nothing! it's good practice to cap hourly and pay evenly and use tracking to see which zone or domain is waste of fund or very convertful! i highly suggest always use tracking!
There are sever downsides with CoinZilla campaings:
Limited pricing models, that is, there is only cpm! no cpc, no cpa-t, no cpa, which is really frustrating in today competetive digital advertising which is highly saturated too. cpm and cpc are no longer beneficial like old days, it's been long time that i don't use cpm and cpc any more, unless i can't provide tracking. althought most ad networks only provide cpa-t and if they provide cpa their cpa price model needs to first cost you big money for a test then will approved to run on pure cpa price model, i suggest for pure cpa, you look for offerwall ad networks or cpa ad networks that working only this way.
Limited targeting: nowdays, we make our money very hard almost all around world people work hard for their money. limited targeting can waste a big money for you! there is huge diffence between selecting USA, or only Texas state, or only Dallas city, ( some networks even offer you to select a limited area over online maps!). what if you only need to show your ad to Dallas users, who has fedora linux of certian version? or Dallas users with Android with only version 7? or only android phones manfactured by HTC over just firefox!? or what if you want to show your crypto game ads to only vr users or xbox/ps/nintendo? then coinzilla has nothing to offer to you!
Ok, that is, end for coinzilla, i hope i could give you good and effective informaiton to you, you can visit coinzilla by below link:
