Greetings Asean Hive Community.
Yesterday afternoon, I together with my youngest son went for a walk to find some food stalls to buy pinakbet as requested by my other son who is now recovering from his sickness. If only we have some ingredients at home, I will just cook for him but the market is far from where we reside so we decided to just find some food stalls where there is pinakbet. We were almost in the main road, when we spotted a yellow car going to the intersection. My youngest son excitedly told me about it so we fasten our pace so we could get a better photo of it.
I'm glad that this car didn't drove fast as it turned right. I was able to take a better photo of it. Seems like I was very lucky yesterday as I spot a beautiful yellow car that fits to this week's Asean Hive Community Challenge.
Not very far from where we spotted the yellow car, we spotted another vehicle. It's the yellow jeepney that was parked beside the road. In most days when we went for a walk either going to the market or just buying grocery near our residence, it's very rare to see yellow vehicles as I mostly see blue, red, green and black but yesterday was different. I got to see many yellow vehicles which I was very thankful of.
After capturing the yellow jeepney we reached the first food stall that I have known. I check all the displayed dish but we didn't see what we were looking for so we decided to went to another food stalls just few meters from the first one that we had entered.
Since the next food stall was just beside the road, so I clearly saw the displayed food and happy that they had pinakbet. In front of the food stall, we saw this yellow Tuktuk 3-wheeled vehicle parked so I asked my youngest son to take a photo of it while I was busy checking other dishes displayed.
After getting our order, we headed to our next destination which is the bakery to buy bread. Since the bakery was on the opposite road, so we stood to the side of the road to let some vehicles pass before crossing the road. We were busy looking at those vehicles when these two jeepneys passed by our sight so I hurriedly opened my camera and took photo of it. The one was entering the Petron Gas station while the other one was going opposite to where the other jeepney was.
When the road is finally clear, we crossed and proceeded to the bakeshop. Before choosing the bread that we like, I handed my phone to my son. As I was busy choosing bread, he was also busy taking pictures which I am happy about because in this photo that I had checked when we were at home already, I saw the reflection of the yellow jeepney in glass where the bread are displayed.
In addition to this yellow entry, here are some other photos that I had but these were taken not on the same day I had taken those yellow vehicles.
Yellow Fruits
This lanzones was bought by my husband this morning from our neighbor. I only had eaten few of these because of its sour taste since some of these aren't very ripe yet. While these mango was displayed on the four wheeled truck that I saw in the market few months ago. I was buying rambutan at that time so while waiting for the rambutan that were weighed I took photos of this displayed mangoes.
Yellow Foods
Who loves to eat cake or pancake? Well, here's a photo of the pancake that we bought from our neighbor. This taste sweet as they put sugar on it but no worries I love to pair it with black coffee with no sugar in it. Do you see that yellow toppings of the cake? It's mango and this cake was given by the owner of the land where our house is right now. They were having a celebration that time and some of their visitors bought and gave them lots of cakes and other desserts. Since they can't consumed it all, some of the cakes and other foods were given to us and this was one of those cakes given.
Yellow Flowers
Tomato flower from our garden. I had taken this photo when our tomatoes started bearing fruit few months ago. The whole family loves eating tomatoes so we started growing some tomatoes but as of now only few of those left in our garden. These cosmos flower was found beside the road while I was on my way to school. I like it's light color so I never miss capturing it.
Now to end this blog, here's the toy trucks of my three son and my four little ones who were all dressed in yellow. These two photos were taken few years ago and I had taken it from my Facebook account where some of the memorable photos of the family are saved.
This is my participation to this week's ASEAN Hive Community Challenge #83 Finding Yellow Everywhere. Special thanks to Sir @justinparke for another interesting theme for everyone.
'Til next time, guys! Thanks for reading!
