It's official as I heard it straight from the horses mouth today, Project Blank will include a mobile app!
This is awesome news, and something myself and others I'm sure have thought about. But you never know until you either see it on a road map or hear it straight from the CEO's mouth, but Khal dropped this news live today at the end of a LeoFinance AMA with Crimsonclad on MSPWaves.com.
I've just come to the conclusion that @khaleelkazi is low key a genius hype man.. arguably an essential trait for any modern day CEO.
Now I don't know if ProjectBlank will launch as a mobile app or if this is something that will come sometime after an initial web launch? likely the later..?
These announcements from LeoFinance always seem to lead to more questions than they answer, ever notice that?

A Mobile App Is Expected?
I don't think it's an unreasonable expectation although I can't speak for everyone, but I'm pretty sure I speak for most when I say that a "decentralized twitter" should come in the form of a mobile app one way or another..
Mobile traffic now dominates the internet and web developers have been designing for a mobile first user experience for some time now.

8 billion people on the planet, 5 billion mobile phone users with 4 billion active on social media!
Our Mission
When project Blank drops the mission will be to let 4 Billion people know there's a censorship resistant twitter alternative available.
The average person doesn't have the "encrypt all comms" mentality that I have, but at least amongst my friends and many colleagues we're very aware of the level of censorship that is taking place with centralized media & supported by repressive totalitarian governments.
One by one users will turn to decentralized, encrypted, censorship resistant technologies. But at the same time I don't think mass adoption of this tech will come until it's nearly too late.
Humans can be lame like that, perhaps it's a survival instinct of some sort, avoid change until it's needed.
But what I see happening is you and I each tell one person every day, and that one person tells another person, and at least we know our friends and family have been made aware of their options.. knowledge is power.
