This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge
On today's post, I want to share some photos of interesting insect species. There are two species of insects I discovered a few days ago. The first is an aphid, with the scientific name Acanthocephala. Aphids from the Coreidae family are known for their characteristic when they are threatened, namely they can release a very smelly liquid.
Another interesting insect is the first beetle, scientifically known as Scutelleridae. This insect is also somewhat related to the stink bug mentioned above. And both certainly have their own charm. :)
