I have more discussion on fresh and natural fruits in my previous posts. In this post we will discuss on natural dry fruit and their benefits. I live in a place which is famous for dried fruits and we have almost all kind of dried fruits. As we all know dry fruits have also different season where different fruits are grown.
We have many dry fruits with different tastes and benefits. Dry fruits should be eaten daily due to having more proteins, vitamins, minerals and dietary fibre. Which our human body needs of all these resources to maintain a healthy life.
We are in a winter season and we need warm foods to maintain the temperature of our body for that we should eat more dry fruits which helps to warmth our body. Along this we have more workout in winter season and consume more energy of the body. So we should eat dry fruits which will be helpful for maintaining the body requirements.
Today I will share three of the dry fruits which should be eaten in winter season. The three of the fruits are Apricots, dates and Cashew which will be discussed below along with their benefits.
APRICOTS
Apricots are one of the best and tasty fruit with many benefits. We have apricot wet and dry fruit which both of them are good and tasty. The Apricot wet fruit is little bit bitter in taste with having little seed inside. Apricot dry fruit is also little bit bitter in taste but has many benefits. It is warm in nature and helps human body to make warm. Some of the benefits of apricots are,
- It is highly anti oxidant and is helpful for the people who have weak eyesight.
- It is good for the skin cure.
- It has high potassium with low calorie.
DATES
Dates are known as one of the complete food which has almost all kind of vitamins and proteins. These dates are grown in the warm places and should be eaten in winter season because it is warm in nature and helps maintaining the temperature of the body. I use more dates in winter season by mixing in milkshakes and other salads. The benefits of Dates are,
- It is good to add in our daily diet and maintain the body temperature.
- Promotes brain health and is known as good sweetener.
- It is high in fibre and more fibre is helpful for the overall health benefit.
CASHEW
Cashew is one of the expensive dry fruits which are often came from Brazil. People use cashew as a food and its nut as medicine. It is warm in nature and is very good to be eaten in winter season. Cashews are very delicious and oily in taste with having more vitamins and proteins. You can eat cashew by mixing in Custards and other sweets which makes the taste double. Some of the benefits are,
- Cashew is helpful to prevent from cancer.
- Cashew is full of magnesium, low in sugar and rich in fibre.
- It is good for bone health, brain health and helps to make immunity strong.
