It's the 15th month today and this day is called Leo power up day (LPUD). This is a community initiative where the community is expected to join the initiative and do the same action together to empower the Leo token economy as well as to the project. In simple words, we can say that when more people stake their tokens for the long term then indirectly we give more power put the project because the selling pressure goes down and that contributes to a price increase after the token.
Things take time to grow and following the same fundamental we expect that with more people take the same action for the long term then things will grow. Now since @Leofinance growth has been amazing for quite some time so we can expect significant growth in the coming year as well. Any project required by supporting community and a long-term road map and I'm really happy to share that Leo has got both which is a plus so if you believe in the ecosystem then I would suggest you to start building your holding and after a couple of years you will be very happy with your decision that you are going to take now.
As I have already shared recently that I will be taking part in the power-up day event and so far this would be my biggest ever power-up as compared to what I had in the past. I have powered up my account with 569 Leo tokens however I wanted to do a minimum of 500 but its even more which is really very good. I did buy some tokens almost 2 weeks back and also started accumulating my post and delegation reward. Basically, I tried all possible ways to increase the amount of this amount, and hopefully, it will be even more in the next LPUD event. My total leo power holding is 6721 after today's power up and I am trying all my ways to accumulate 10k LP by the end of Dec 2022. Below is the snapshot of my holding and power up.
Reaching 10k LP is not easy by end of the year and looking at the current rate of power up so I will try to buy more leo tokens in the meantime. Leo power works the same way as Hive power and this is certainly a great way to create a source of passive income. Ultimately I would like to have 50k LP in the next couple of years and since I am focused on this so I am sure that it will happen. Its always great to see more people participating in LPUD events and I know that this is something we all want to happen however there are many people who are still not part of it. I hope to see at least 50% of the leo community doing power up on the 15th of the month to support LPUD and make it even more successful even on the chain.
Needless to say that leofinance is a vibrant community and a very strong ecosystem so we can easily expect that the growth will be multi-fold in the coming years. Power up now for a better tomorrow and with some tokens like Hive, leo, and SPS I follow the same philosophy. I am part of this ecosystem and looking at the growth and adoption is most likely happen that Leo will be reach $1 and that would be the time when more users will enter. Why wait for tomorrow when we can do it now and this is why I don't want to miss any chance to add value in my leo ecosystem and even my leo holding.
