There has been heavy rain in the past few days. Along with the rain, there was also a thunderstorm. It was such a severe storm that it cannot be described in words. The duration of the rain was two to three hours. There was water everywhere, which also affected my garden.
Friends and members of Homesteading, I welcome you to my blog. Today I am here with a new update on my garden. The rain has affected my garden a lot, and now it needs a new look.
Before this rain, I had used urea fertilizer and chicken manure on my plants, which proved beneficial. But due to the heavy rain, the plants were also affected. The reason was that the water stood for a long time, which affected its roots and some plants started drying up.
After the rain, the ground became hard and the plants stopped their growth. Now here you are being shown in different pictures how the garden ground where I used to grow vegetables is full of water, and you must be seeing water everywhere because the ground is hot.
After all, it is the summer season. So as soon as the water reaches the roots of the plants, it has a bad effect on the roots. I have already told you that some plants have dried up and this is the reason for them. So I need some advice from you guys.
I don't think these plants will start growing again. So I am thinking of planting new plants in their place. Now I will tell you the details of the plants whose growth has stopped and their leaves have started to dry up and fall. Among them is a guava plant whose leaves have completely dried up. Along with this, some pomegranate leaves have dried up, but the whole plant is still healthy and is growing. I had planted a peach π plant whose leaves have completely fallen down, and that too is slowly drying up, and I think it will not grow. I had planted chilli plants from which I was going to get a lot of chillies. One of them was broken by my child, and after that, the rain damaged it further. Now both the chilli plants are completely dry. They have already died and it is pointless to nurture them.
Now I am sharing the pictures with you guys. These are the pictures after the rain. Here you can see the ground which has become completely hard after the rain. It is difficult for them to get their food from the rooted soil. So I will soften it again after a day or two and then water it so that it starts growing again. Please guide me and advise me on which new plants I should plant now, according to the weather conditions, and how to protect them so that they can quickly take root in the ground and start their growth. I want to have fruit-bearing plants that will bear fruit quickly, and will also benefit my home kitchen, and will also improve my health. Thank you guys for posting.
