HI! ANNYEONG! KONNICHIWA HIVERS! It’s @angelwingsss again, and today I’m going to share with you all my second day in Casino Espanol de Cebu as an intern.
So, July 15, 2025, was my second day at Casino Espanol. My shift was changed from 9-6 to 8-5, at first, I was quite hesitant to agree to my new schedule because I will need to wake up very early since it will take at least and hour and 15 minutes to arrive in Casino because I’m from Liloan, but then the head of banquet sales explained to me that It’s better that I get early at work and get home early to for my safety since at morning, either my cousin, uncle, or my dad will drive me off to Casino at morning, so I don’t need to have any problems with my commute in morning.
Back to reality, my usual routine is that I will wake up around 4:50 and get ready. That day, my sister’s boyfriend had a day off and he offered to drive me to Casino, for him to also know where I work. We left around 6:30 am. I woke him around 6 am for him to get ready too.
We took off and it was quite cloudy that day too so during our ride, I was praying that it won’t rain because I’m worried that we will get wet along the way and my make up hahaha. We rode to the usual bridge where my cousin also drove by because it’s a short cut to pacific mall and to also avoid traffic lights. After the short cut to pacific mall, we then drove on the highway.
We arrive around 7:20 at Casino and I thanked my sister’s boyfriend for driving me there. When I arrive at the Casino, I greeted the guard and punch my DTR to the machine which will show what time I arrive. I went straight to the locker room and stayed there for a while and around 7:40, I then went to the banquet sales office.
I did my usual routine which is changing the yesterday’s events to today’s events and had the tomorrow’s events ready too. I made some food tags, door signage and elevators signages for tomorrow’s events. I also did some route to give each departments their copies for the next upcoming events in Casino.
At lunch, Sir Earl, our operation manager and the head of banquet sales treats us for lunch as a despedida celebration for Ms. Alne, as it will be her last day tomorrow. Sir Earl ordered a spaghetti Bolognese and Bread for our lunch. It was my first time tasting one of Casino’s foods because their foods are very expensive since their clients and elite members of Cebu.
At noon, I did the same thing as usual, organizing the upcoming events and making food tags, door signage and elevators signages for the new BEO for tomorrows events. It was then 5 pm and I bid my goodbyes to the sales team and went straight to our locker room. I saw my friend there and we took some pictures before we left the Casino. We also commuted together.
So, that’s how my second day of internship in Casino Espanol went. I hope you like my blog and support it! Thank you and lots of love hivers<3<3<3
