Earlier today, there was a discussion concerning some rich kids or people, and it was about those born with a silver spoon (into wealth) has it easier for them than those that are not born into it, and it has made them see things as something which is needed for pleasure, and they only live for the moment. Therefore, they live an easy life without thinking of the future or the possibility of what would happen if that were to be taken from them.
But then again, not everyone born into wealth lives that life, it’s all about mindset and the discipline the parents have instilled into the family. Those that are goal driven and want to have their own wealth and not live off the wealth of their family will look for means to achieve theirs by either following their own path to hustle or the same path as their parents to achieve their goal.
Let’s take a good example I saw earlier,
it was about a rat that was put in a glass jar. It was filled with different kinds of food it wants, now he had all the food to himself, there was no need for the rat to leave the jar for anything because it had it all but unknowing to it that the more the food goes down it’s slowly trapping itself which eventually happened to the rat. The only way for the rat to come out is for someone to help it out of the situation.
The situation of the rat is how reality works, when one has everything at their feet, they tend to misuse it and live for the moment forgetting that it will end one day if it’s not utilized properly but should we blame them? I mean they got everything easy and who doesn’t want the easy way out of situations?
The reason why people can’t excel or achieve their goals is that they want to live in the moment, they don’t want to work, they want easy food to come to them and they forget they short-term pleasure is just a way of creating a long-term trap they can’t get out from. Then, the only way out of the trap is for someone to help them out or they strive hard to get out of the but then it might be too late, but then again, better late than never.
