LMAC - A Contest for All Creatives on Hive - Into The Light

The cloudy sky with flashes of lightning this evening has inspired my work today. Though the rain didn't fall, the rumble of thunder filled the evening sky, creating a somber atmosphere.

The sun hid behind the cloudy horizon in the west, emitting a faint glow from behind the clouds, offering hope before being swallowed by the night.

In this collage, I wanted to incorporate the element of lightning, as I had done in my previous free-style collages. I tried to bring together two worlds in this collage by connecting them with a portal, one dark and the other a ray of light.

The combination of magic and lightning seems to be quite potent in creating a tense atmosphere, especially with the addition of dark purple to give it a mystical feel.
