It's been already a month since I got a new phone. It's the Redmi Note 13 in its base form.
The phone works fine. Granted it came with the MIUI 14 instead of Hyper OS at first, but upgrade came a few weeks ago. I got the 8/256 version. That means it has 8gb of RAM and 256gb of ROM. With this upgrade it processes actions quite fast and I have a lot of storage for the rest of the things I want to do. That is mostly take photos and record some videos. A 6nm Snapdragon 685 processor gives this device more than enough power for tasks
On the camera front, it has 4. The principal one has a 108-megapixel lens that allows for some interesting things with zoom. The other are the ultra-wide lens at 8mp and the macro lens at 2mp. The selfie camara is at 16mp Photos look good specially on its 6.67" AMOLED Screen with a 120HZ refresh rate. Colors are vivid, it has a resolution of 2400x1080 and a peak brightness of 1800nits. However, I have to say that sometimes it gets a little annoying trying to focus on an object specially if it has some other things behind. That's a recurring problem on these phones that I thought could've been fixed already.
On the battery side, it came with a 33W charger that allows for some fast charging. It only takes 30min to go from 0 to 50% of battery and only 70min for full charge. And with 5000mAh it has more than enough to work fine for a day or two with not so much activity. But it will serve you well for a whole day even if you use it a lot!
It came with a gray protector. That's also an upgrade from the previous versions and their transparent ones that would turn yellow in due time. It's a cool addition it has some texture since this version of the phone is quite slippery!
It has an on-screen fingerprint reader that can be programmed quite easily.
With all this said I give it a 8/10 in overall performance. A cool grade for a mid-tier phone that was released earlier this year.

Ya ha pasado un mes desde que adquirí teléfono nuevo. Es el Redmi Note 13 en su versión base.
El teléfono funciona bien. Comencemos por el hecho de que vino con MIUI 14 en vez de Hyper OS, pero esto se solucionó hace poco con una actualización. Es la versión de 8/256. Es decir, 8gb de memoria RAM y 256gb de almacenamiento interno. Estos números permiten que tengas suficiente espacio para lo que vayas a guardar aquí y mucha velocidad para procesarlo. Junto a un procesador Snapdragon 685 de 6nm, tiene la potencia necesaria para cumplir todas las funciones que se requieran.
Tiene 4 cámara. La principal es de 108 megapíxeles; las otras de 8 y 2 respectivamente. Su cámara de selfie es de 16mp. Las fotos son buenas y no pierden calidad con el zoom. Eso es una ventaja. A veces suele poner un poco necio para enfocar en los objetos pricipales. Pensaba que este detalle ya no era un problema en esta versión. Cuenta con la pantalla AMOLED de 6.67 pulgadas con una tasa de actualización de 120Hz. Su resolución es de 200x1080 y su brillo máximo alcanza los 1800 nits. Esto le da colores vívidos y muy agradables a la vista.
Cuenta con una batería de 5000mAh. Esto es más que suficiente para cumplir con muchas fuciones o seguir encendido por varios días sin uso. Con un cargador de carga rápida de 33W puede ir de 0 a 50% en solo 30min. Le toma 70min ir de 0 a 100% de carga.
Cambiaron la funda transparente por una gris con textura. Esto es bueno porque el teléfono es algo resbaloso por sí solo. Además, la funda no se pondrá amarilla con el tiempo.
Cuenta con un lector de huellas en la pantalla principal que es fácil de programar. El teléfono activa la opción de desbloqueo al levantarlo de donde esté. Esto permite usar menos el botos de encendido/bloqueo.
Con esas características, le doy un 8/10. Una calificación sólida para un gama media que salió este año.
