No, wait, without further Ado, I give to you, my answers to THE QUESTIONS
How long have you been on the Blockchain?
I recently Achieved my 4th Anniversary badge from @hivebuzz in early Fall. Although, to be fair, I came on Steem (HIVE's Dear predecessor) in early June. Sadly, I lost those keys (more about that later) and ended up creating Bluefinstudios, 4 years 6 months ago.
What was your background in Cryptocurrency when you first came to the blockchain?
Crypto-huh? Nope, never heard it before @thekittygirl dragged me here, from Ello.com
How many people did you know when you first came to the Blockchain?
Other than TheKittygirl? She brought a small half handful of us, here...
How did you meet people when you first came to the Blockchain?
I listened carefully, to Kittygirl, and then, I found my way to @shadowspub's show, #PYPT. Simply Put, Pimp Your Post Thursday is what made Steem/Hive successful. It was there I met so many people: @snook, shadows, @enginewitty, a dozen amazing photographers, and most importantly, @dreemsteem
Who did you look up to when you first came to the blockchain?
Perhaps the most important influences of my HIVE experience, were @dreemsteem and @shadowspub Without them, I would never ahve learned best practices, how to connect and how to navigate the politics and pitfalls of the chain.
How would you describe your first three months on the blockchain?
It was stuttering, and halting for that first month or two. Until finally finding PYPT, I was lost. Finding a community, and solid connections, that is what turned the tide. before then, I simply took pictures, posted them, and described a paragraph or two...
Has being a part of the blockchain changed you in any way for the good?
Easily, the people I have met, and become closer too, is the best part. It has given me a sense of belonging, and a sense of pride in being able to help others, give back, and give to others. I am a more giving person, since finding other like minded...
What is your favorite memory from your time on the blockchain?
The days of laughing, talking all day Thursday, the sense of wonder, and fun, on PYPT. In those days, there were 2 shows a day. We'd show up early, do the 1st PYPT, Stay on after chatting, then do the second show, and end up going until well past 1 or 2 am. Essentially, a 15 hour day...
If you could give advice to a new person signing up to Hive what would it be?
I'd give two pieces of advice:
- DO NOT LOSE YOUR WALLET KEYS!
- **Connect, and find people. Commenting and connecting with others is the single most important Key to Success. Without connections, no amount of good writing and posts will make you a success on Hive. Find a community, a tribe, or a group of solid friends.
