Everything in this life has a process, a procedure to achieve set goals. A driver must learn to drive before getting into the highway, a farmer must know how to plow before having a hole or plowing machine, and a student as well must also have study techniques to succeed in his learning journey. A student who doesn't have studying techniques is like a trader who takes her goods to the market without knowing the price to sell. She will be the first to finish her sales because she will sell her goods at unimaginable cheap prices, the prices buyers pitifully hand over to her.
I am a student and I have a lot of experience. I am going to share my studying techniques with everyone and after reading this, I am seventy percent sure a lot of people will learn and may adopt my techniques. I used these techniques and it paid off. I learned most of these techniques when I was in high school, some from counselors when our school organized seminars and some I learned by reading books about academic excellence.
One of the secret techniques in studying to achieve success is studying before time for a test. As a student, no matter the course one is studying, one can only succeed by always reading before time for tests. I will use myself as an example. When I was in high school, I often read any topic in the scheme before the teacher came to class. I often read ahead and take the teacher's classroom teachings as an explanation for what I had read. This gives me more understanding and I often have intelligent questions to ask. After every class, I often read almost all the notes for that day in the evening time because I'm not a night reader. Any of the notes I missed to read will be read during the weekend. This often helps me before every test as I often don't bother about tests. This is the quote that made me instill this value in myself, "If early preparation meets with opportunity, success is inevitable". I love this quote so much. I am happy that I'm not a night reader because good sleep is also a great studying technique.

Another technique is to find your best place and time to study. Every person is different from another person. We have people who can read at night and understand better but some people can only read during the day. I am that kind. I can never read at night, I often sleep off. You also need to know the right place to stay to study. Some can study anywhere, noisy or quiet. But some people can only study in the library. I study anywhere, I love listening to music while reading, it amazes my parents and mates.
Every learner or student who wants to succeed must be humble. This is one of the techniques which worked for me. Though I was the best science student in my school, I often humbled myself and asked those who saw themselves as inferior to me questions. If I want to study, I often engage in a group study, I ask questions and don't let pride kill me. Sometimes I ask questions I know the answer to, my aim is more explanation from another brain. So my technique here is humility to ask questions on what I know and what I don't know.
The last technique I want to share with my readers here is very important both for academic success and for health. It's the right study posture. Every activity has its posture. A driver cannot lie down flat to control the steering, a carpenter can never stand upright to nail his woods together. Therefore as a student or anyone who's learning, the right posture is to sit and rest the elbows on the reading desk. The palms can be folded to form a cup-shaped support for the head.
If a you are lying on your bed to study, there's every possibility that you would sleep off.

I hope you have learned something from just reading and absorbing every point written above. I am happy to share this techniques which helped me achieved success and I hope those who need it will try it and see the results. Thank you all and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
This is my entry for the #aprilinleo daily prompts, day 28 which will be threaded to @leogrowth.
