Girls date in Between Errands💅🩷

I hope you all are doing well. It was around 9 AM when my mom told me I’d be joining her to go to BCGC to settle some important papers. Since there was no one to babysit my little sister, the three of us, just us girls—headed out together.

As the eldest, I’m kind of used to this setup already. While Mom went inside the office, my baby sister and I stayed outside. I sat with her, keeping her entertained while people came and went. My sister was in a good mood, and we had a few laughs playing little games while waiting.

Once Mom was done with her errands, we all went downtown to grab some lunch. We ended up eating at Greenwich, and it was such a good choice. My little sister was so happy with her pizza and dessert—she couldn’t stop smiling, and she kept mini dance in her seat. That alone made the day feel lighter.

As for me and Mom, we went for pasta. She ordered her favorite, the Lasagna Supreme, while I decided to try something new—the Spinach Lasagna. I figured it’s a bit healthier, and to my surprise, it actually tasted really good. I didn’t expect to like it that much, but I totally would order it again.

After our filling lunch, we walked to a nearby mall to shop for a few things. We browsed through some clothes (both for my sister and a few pieces for myself), then went to the kitchen section where Mom bought some stuff she needed at home. It felt nice walking around together like that, together with the silly baby sister that keeps me pulling.😆

Before heading home, we stopped by the grocery store to pick up some basic necessities. It was a quick grocery run. After that, we rode a jeepney back home.

When we got off at the corner near our house, a random thought hit me—I wanted a haircut. I’ve had long hair ever since I was a kid (just kidding🤣), and I just felt like it was time for a change. Maybe I was just bored, or maybe I wanted a little makeover. We actually walked straight into the barbershop near our street.

I asked the barber to decide what kind of short hairstyle would suit my round face. I trusted her completely.

And boom! Just like that, my long hair was gone, replaced by a short layered cut that honestly looked way better than I expected. No regrets at all! hmmm?😆 It felt so refreshing, and I loved the new look. Even my mom was shocked when she saw me—she just stared at me for a second and then laughed, saying it actually suited me. While, my baby sister is knockdown and sleeping on my mom's chest. Hahaha

When we finally got home, it was already late in the afternoon. We were all a bit tired. Sometimes, simple errands turn into the sweetest bonding moments.
