Hello there! It's me, Mae!
I hope you all are doing well. Spending time with family especially when it only happens once in a blue moon, hits different. It was around lunch time time when my mom suddenly said we were heading to the mall. Some of our relatives from a faraway city were visiting, so we thought it would be a great idea to spend the rest of the day together before they had to go back.

Everyone agreed to my mom’s idea, and as expected, it took about an hour before everyone was finally ready. We used our motorcar—and luckily, we all fit! Hahaha. It was a bit of a tight squeeze, but that made it even more fun. After that, we headed straight to the mall downtown, excited for what the day would bring.

As usual, we had kids with us including my sister and our cousin—so our first stop was Quantum. We bought some tokens and let the kids ride those mini cars. They were so happy, laughing and smiling the whole time.

After that, us adults couldn’t resist trying out the basketball game. We were all laughing while taking turns, but in the end, it was mostly my dad who took over. He’s such an avid basketball fan (especially the NBA🏀) and it was like he turned into a kid again. He was having the time of his life! Hahaha
Even my mom and her sister joined in, and my lola (grandmother) just sat back watching us all with a warm smile on her face. We tried a few more games before finally stepping out of Quantum, feeling extra happy. It was such a wholesome moment for all of us.

After all the fun at Quantum, we decided to go to another mall to relax a bit and try out the massage chairs. It felt so good after all the walking and running around. We were all laughing about how tired we were, but it was a good kind of tired.

Not long after, hunger started to hit us, so we all agreed to eat at Jollibee. We ordered our favorite meals—Chickenjoy, spaghetti, burgers, and fries—and sat together, just enjoying our food and each other’s company. There was a lot of chatting and laughter around the table. It felt so light and happy.

After dinner, we passed by the park nearby since it was close to our home. The kids played at the playground while the rest of us chilled and enjoyed the cool breeze. Some of the little ones even bought balloons, and the smiles on their faces were priceless. We were all full and happy.
Then finally—seriously this time—we went home. Hahaha. We were all exhausted, but our hearts were full.
It may not have been a grand get-together but it was one of those days that reminded me how precious family time really is. With all the laughs, shared stories, and little adventures, this day turned into a core memory. These are the moments that stay with us.
