You know, the first time that I actually enjoyed and learned how valuable a wifi could be was this particular year that we had gone to the village. Prior, i had connected to one but didn’t see how different it was from mobile data(i mean, the network where i was was good and someone was just helping my digital life cause I'd run out of data).
At the time, back at my hometown, every other network provider, excluding MTN, became useless once you were in that region. Even the MTN, it wasn't even stable. But at least, your phone did not show you the 'no Sim card,' 'insert sim', 'no network,' or any one of those other error messages.
To get network enough to send messages or even make phone calls that were still crappy, one would have to go to the village square or the football field or some place with vegetation. Some persons climbed trees. It was that bad.
Then my brother came with a wifi(or router, I can't recall), and a number of us connected, and it was almost smooth. Little troubles.
Many times after that, I've had to use a wifi, and every single time, the experience was good. The network connection was stable, and the speed was good.
For the most part, anyway, I've used my mobile data, and while that serves me, it shows some craze sometimes.
Even at that, it's what I rely on to stay connected online. I don't own a wifi, and in this moment, I don't have a need for one. My phone's network connectivity rate is great, runs at a fast speed, and is just convenient.
Wifi isn't expensive, but then they have to be subscribed for, and somehow, I feel like their data consumption rate is higher. I haven't really taken the time to compare. I just feel so. Data for my mobile isn't any less inexpensive due to the hike in subscription bundles, but it's alright.
I mean, wifi are good if we took away having to move around with it and/or connectivity issues by reason of not being in its radar. It's fast and has good connection, and I'd have preferred it, but for the fact that it's not what I rely on presently and cause what I rely on, my mobile data is just perfect.
Thanks for gracing this post.
Greetings!
