This upgrade gives you a good acceleration boost meaning your car reaches its top speed much faster than before and this is especially noticeable at the start of a race or after each lap when you start over.
The good of this upgrade is that it increases acceleration by 15%, which is not a small amount at all. It literally feels like the car is running on its own as soon as you step on the gas especially on tracks with many turns and curves. However, like any great upgrade this upgrade has a small side effect as it reduces the car's top speed by 2%. Honestly, this is not a noticeable amount, and is easily compensated for if you play fast and know how to take the curves correctly.
This upgrade requires some thought. It's not just about getting on the car and doing it. You need to consider what type of track you're playing on. If the track has long straights and a high top speed, you might find the upgrade a bit overwhelming. But if the majority of the race consists of curves, twists, and turns, then the upgrade will be your secret weapon, allowing you to outpace everyone else and quickly exit each turn.
