During our life time, falling sick is inevitable. some times, we get admitted in the hospital. For this prompt, tell us, what was your best experience in the hospital. Did you got to have a favorite nurse? Or a favorite doctor? what made you like this person in perticular??
Sickness became part of life when our partriarch parents Adam and Eve go against the rules of their maker. That means, we their offsprings should have been living now without sickness. But currently, sickness is inevitable because on daily basis, people do visit hospitals, pharmacies and local chemist shops. Go to general hospitals, you will notice that hospital is a Nation of it's own hahaha 🤣😂. Believe me people are really sick and you will see different kinds of ailments that people are passing through. Personally, I don't fall sick easily because how i was made by my creator and even if i should sick, it's always minor sicknesses like malaria, fever or thyroid. Besides, i do experience thyroid after three or four years later. Thank God for making me 💪 strong this way.
Does that mean i haven't been admitted in the hospital? Not at all. Let me share this experience with you. I was around 23 years old when i developed severe stomach pains. I took all sorts of medications but the pains persisted. Then, my guardian then decided to take me to the hospital. When we get there, i undergo lots of test and body check ups. It was discovered by the doctor that i have appendicitis and had to undergo appendix surgery within 48 hours or i lose my life. Same day, i was admitted in the hospital by the doctor. I only went home to get my belongings. The next day, i was operated. During the process of the surgery, i slept off and couldn't wake up for more than 10 hours. Guess what? The doctor and all the nurses became afraid because i was lying lifelessly on the bed. So all of them including other patients in my ward started calling and praying for me. The kept on sprading waters on me. Gradually, i began hearing a voice dip inside. I managed to open my eyes and couldn't get up.
Few minutes later, i began to vomit 🤮 uncontrollably. Imagine me vomiting out drips from my mouth. Remember, i was feeding with drips because i can't eat anything at the moment. So, one of the nurses by name Nurse Cynthia came for my refuge. She held me. While i was holding my stomach because the wound of the cuts was still fresh and painful. Nurse Cynthia cleaned me up, prayed and cared for me. She volunteered herself to make sure am good. Honestly she was my favorite Nurse then. Though the doctor was nice too but Nurse Cynthia was my favorite. She came every morning to clean me up because my immediately family members weren't around. She makes sure i took my medications accurately. She prepared simple light foods for me. Wash my clothes and was always there for me to lay my complains. Till i left the hospital, she was my favorite nurse and her kind-heart, made me love her som much. I never knew people like her exists. And i learned to be kind to others from her even if they're people that i don't know. God has ways of flavoring us if we show kindness to others.
Apart from being kind-hearted, nurse Cynthia is always neat, she was not caring for me because of money or any gains. Rather, she had that human feelings for me. Tell me if it was you will joke with her? Honestly i don't allow another nurse to inject me apart from her. Nurse Cynthia, May the Almighty God be with you wherever you are. Amen
