Pollution is when we make our environment dirty and unsafe. It happens when harmful things are released into the air, water, or land.
Factories, cars, trash, chemicals, and even human waste are some common source of pollution. It is so harmful that it damages the place where we live and harms every living thing within the place.
I have seen many places affected by pollution. For example, in some towns, there are piles of garbage on the streets. When it rains, the trash clogs the drains and causes flooding. The water becomes dirty and smells bad. I have also seen rivers where people throw waste. The water turns dark and unsafe for drinking or fishing. Even the air can be dirty.
In big cities, smoke from cars and factories fills the air. Breathing becomes hard, this is Common in mostly old men and children.
Side effect
The bad effect of pollution are numerous.
sickness, like coughs, asthma, and other breathing problems are some of the effects.
A polluted water can cause typhoid and cholera.
Even aquatic animals are not spared , as it is also kills them.
- Pollution affects climate change thereby making the world hotter and causing dangerous weather.
- Land pollution makes soil poor, so farmers cannot grow healthy crops.
MY OPINION
In my opinion, air pollution is the worst. We all need clean air to live. When the air is dirty, everyone suffers, even people far away from where the pollution started. Air pollution spreads easily and is hard to stop once it is in the sky.
People living at a long distances who knew nothing about the cause of the pollution can be affected by this.
HOW WE CAN STOP IT
- Working together:
This is the first step of ending pollution. People need to learn about pollution and the various ways it affects them.
This is because Education is important because many people do not know the dangers.
- Reduction of waste:
waste is something we need to reduce. Recycle, reuse, and avoid throwing trash anywhere is something that we should adapt to. Governments should provide enough bins and good waste management systems.
The factories and companies are also not left out as they also have to Follow guidelines on how to reduce harmful emissions.
- Clean Energy and afforestation;
Useage of clean energy like solar and wind energy , planting of more trees are some ways that humans can also help with reduction of pollution. Trees can make the land healthier and purify the air.
- Finally
communities should come together to clean their surroundings. When people see their environment looking nice, they are more likely to keep it that way.
stopping pollution is not an easy activity but if every one can learn to do their part,then our world can become clean and a healthier place for us to live.
