What's up guys from Hive, a few posts ago I told you that I wanted to make a series of posts commenting on what my experience with my YouTube channel has been, what it's like to publish there and how much you can monetize and start making a living from what you publish here, this is the second part.

I have always wanted to start a YouTube channel, perhaps that is why I integrated so well into making content on Hive, I think writing and making content is good for me and the multimedia format has long been one of my great desires and what better place? to make YouTube videos!
I didn't have a special topic that I wanted to dedicate myself to, maybe I would do video games since I have based my entire hive profile on that topic. I'm not going to reveal the niche of the channel for the moment, I'm just going to leave you some numbers, but first some reflections on this path to monetization.
Creating content is quite a demanding job, especially if you want to create an audience in the shortest possible time, it becomes an exercise in discipline in which I had to publish videos every day, publish and get ideas for the next one, it is exhausting in the first weeks but then you get used to having discipline, just like in Hive :)
Shorts and how they help you grow
I decided to dedicate myself first to publishing shorts on my channel, they are those short TikTok style videos where you can gain a large audience in a short time, it helps a lot when you want to reach the goal of 1000 subscribers that YouTube gives you to monetize and it is a good way to share without spending too much making videos of 10 minutes or more.
so far I have published more than 200 shorts!!!

These are my numbers for the last 7 days, it's a little low because this week I had some problems at work and I didn't have enough time to make the videos but I still feel good, **I try to publish at least 3 videos a day ** which is quite a bit if we consider that some people don't have time to make one, for those who want to know, I use a mix of original content and third party content that I modify and add my voice to so there is quite a bit of maneuvering about what content can you do

which is exactly $1 a day, the truth is that I have been monetizing a little more than 9 days so this figure is somewhat higher but YouTube has the peculiarity that it processes this income quite late, it can take up to 2 days to appear and give you a number, something similar happens with video analytics.

It is truly shocking to see these statistics and remember that until a few months ago I did not have any of this, the effort has been worth it and although I think that on YouTube it has been easier than on hive to gain a little audience and money, I think it is still hive has many arguments in favor
I am going to detail those in another post but if you are seeing this I think you already enjoy many of these benefits of publishing here, not having barriers to start monetizing as you want, without limit and sharing what you like, on YouTube there are some policies well marked on what you can and cannot monetize, but well that was today's post! Que tal muchachines de Hive hace algunos post atras les comente que queria hacer una serie de post comentando que tal ha sido mi experiencia con mi canal de youtube, como es publicar ahi y que tanto se puede monetizar y empezar a vivir de lo que se publica aqui, esta es la segunda parte.

Siempre he querido comenzar un canal de youtube, quiza por eso me integré tan bien a hacer contenido en Hive, creo que escribir y hacer contenido se me da bien y el formato multimedia ha sido desde hace tiempo uno de mis grandes anhelos y que mejor lugar para hacer videos que Youtube!
No tenia una tematica especial a la que quisiera dedicarme, quiza lo haria de los videojuegos ya que he basado todo mi perfil de hive en esa tematica. No voy a revelar el nicho del canal por el momento, solo les voy a dejar algunos numeros, pero primero algunas reflexiones de este camino a la monetizacion.
Crear contenido es un trabajo bastante demandante, en especial si quieres crear una audiencia en el menor tiempo posible, se vuelve un ejercicio de disciplina en el que tenia que publicar videos todos los dias, publicar y sacar ideas para el proximo, es agotador en las primeras semanas pero despues te vas acostumbrando a tener disciplina, justo como en Hive :)
Shorts y como te ayudan a crecer
Decidi dedicarme primeramente a publicar shorts en mi canal, son esos videos cortos al estilo tiktok en donde puedes agarrar bastante audiencia en poco tiempo, ayuda bastante cuando quieres llegar a la meta de los 1000 suscriptores que te pone youtube para monetizar y es una buena forma de compartir sin gastarse demasiado haciendo videos de 10 minutos en adelante.
hasta ahora he publicado mas 200 shorts!!!
lo cual es una cifra aceptable para los numeros que les voy a mostrar ahora:
Estos son mis numeros de los ultimos 7 dias, esta algo bajo porque esta semana estuve con algunos problemas en el trabajo y no tenia suficiente tiempo para hacer los videos pero aun asi me siento bien, trato de publicar al menos 3 videos al dia lo que es bastante si consideramos que algunas personas no tienen tiempo para hacer uno, para los que quieren saber, uso una mezcla de contenido original y contenido de terceros que modifico y le agrego mi voz por lo que hay bastante maniobra sobre que contenido puedes hacer
7$ es lo que hice en la semana
lo que es exactamente 1$ al dia, la verdad es que llevo monetizando algo mas de 9 dias asi que esta cifra es algo mayor pero youtube tiene la particularidad de que procesa con bastante retraso estos ingresos, pueden tardarse hasta 2 dias en aparecer y darte un numero, algo similar pasa con las analiticas de los videos.

En verdad es shockeante ver estas estadisticas y recordar que hasta hace unos meses no tenia nada de esto, el esfuerzo ha valido la pena y aunque creo que en youtube ha sido mas sencillo que en hive ganar un poco de audiencia y dinero creo que hive todavia tiene muchos argumentos a favor
Esos los voy a detallar en otro post pero si estas viendo esto creo que ya gozas de muchos de estos beneficios de publicar aca, no tener barreras para empezar a monetizar como quieras, sin limite y compartiendo lo que te plazca, en youtube hay unas politicas bien marcadas de lo que puedes y no puedes monetizar, pero bueno ese ha sido el post de hoy! dejame un comentario aca abajo si te ha gustado
