You probably don't see a game with personality every day, that isn't more of the same or that doesn't stand out enough to attract you enough, and this other branch of games that I would call relaxing, novel, that you can tell were made with a lot of love and that they bring you mechanics that are new and that base the entire experience on refining this.
FEZ is one of the best examples of this group of games that I name, it was one of the first games with which I launched my new PC and started playing video games again and publishing on Hive, at that time I wanted to see an independent game that impacted me , the first part will always be among my favorites, leaving home in a 2D environment and then through a ritual opening ourselves to all kinds of new sensations.
It turns out that now we have powers to change perspective and see beyond our limited vision in two dimensions and I swear it may seem simple but this game does it SO WELL that it changes the entire dynamic and makes you think a lot, it is a Very ingenious puzzle game that does not get tired at each level, offering a challenge, not too difficult but it does require us to think with these new mechanics at play.
The perspective changes at our will so we can see what is on the other side of that cabin or that mountain. Not only that, we can also change platforms just by moving our vision, there are several levels of these where we have to align the platforms finding the right perspective to pass and every time I see that or also every time my brother experiences it you get a feeling of Eureka.
There is no life system or a game over screen so if we fall into the void or from a very high altitude we will only restart from the platform where we were, this is appreciated since in some levels we will also have to coordinate our jumps with the change of perspective and the game gradually introduces you to other mechanics such as objects that automatically change your perspective and which can be difficult to get used to.
It is one of the most complete puzzles I have played, you can spend several minutes trying to complete a specific level but you never get bored or dispersed, the changes in the scenario are part of this function because the scenario that we will have behind is a spectacle of changing lights and colors that have their own night/day cycle and a soundtrack that makes sense with that relaxing experience that I mentioned above
There is not a moment in which you feel too much pressure, it is a Feel Good game in its entirety, it has almost no dialogue and the story behind it is just an excuse to play with its mechanics but even so it is a game that I have enjoyed and better It is still one of the few that I have recommended to people who don't play too many video games.
It is a title that is already a decade old and I highly doubt that they are going to release any continuation, but with just this installment I think there is enough ingenuity to play these games at least a couple of times, it does not offer much replayability unless you want to grab them all. the crystals 100% but the level design, the setting and how fun its mechanics are leaves you with a good taste after all.

Probablemente no se vea todos los dias un juego con personalidad, que no sea mas de lo mismo o que no destaque lo suficiente como para atraerte lo suficiente, y esta otra rama de juegos que yo llamaria relajantes, novedosos, que se nota que se hicieron con mucho cariño y que te llevan mecanicas que son novedosas y que basan toda la experiencia en refinar esta.
FEZ es uno de los mejores ejemplos de este cumulo de juegos que nombro, fue uno de los primeros juegos con los que estrené mi nueva pc y empece a jugar videojuegos nuevamente y a publicar en Hive, para ese entonces queria ver un juego independiente que me impacte, la primera parte siempre estara entre mis favoritos, saliendo de casa en un entorno en 2D para despues a traves de un ritual abrirnos a todo tipo de nuevas sensaciones.
Resulta que ahora tenemos poderes para cambiar de perspectiva y ver mas alla de nuestra limitada vision en dos dimensiones y se los juro que puede parecer algo sencillo pero este juego lo hace TAN BIEN que te cambia toda la dinamica y te hace pensar bastante, es un juego de puzles muy ingenioso que no se cansa en cada nivel proponer un reto, no demasiado dificil pero si requiere que pensemos con estas nuevas mecanicas en juego.
La perspectiva cambia a nuestra voluntad por lo que podremos ver que hay del otro lado de esa cabaña o de esa montaña no solo eso, tambien podremos cambiar de lugar plataformas con solo mover nuestra vision, hay varios niveles de estos en donde tenemos que alinear las plataformas encontrando la perspectiva indicada para pasar y cada vez que veo eso o tambien cada vez que mi hermano lo experimenta se te queda una sensacion de Eureka.
No hey un sistema de vidas o una pantalla de game over asi que si nos caemos al vacio o desde muy alta altura solo reiniciaremos desde la plataforma en donde estabamos, esto se agradece ya que en algunos niveles tendremos que tambien coordinar nuestros saltos con el cambio de perspectiva y el juego te va introduciendo poco a poco otras mecanicas como objetos que te cambian en automatico la perspectiva y que puede ser dificil acostumbrarse.
Es uno de los puzles mas completos que he jugado, puedes estar varios minutos tratando de completar algun nivel en especifico pero jamas te aburres o te dispersas, los cambios en el escenario forman parte de esta funcion porque el escenario que tendremos detras es un espectaculo de luces y colores cambiantes que tiene su propio ciclo de noche/dia y un soundtrack que hace sentido con esa experiencia relajante que les comentaba mas arriba
No hay un momento en el que sientas demasiada presion, es un juego Feel Good en toda su extension, no tiene casi dialogos y la historia detras es solo una excusa para jugar con sus mecanicas pero aun asi es un juego que me he disfrutado y mejor aun es uno de los pocos que he recomendado a personas que no juegan demasiados videojuegos.
Es un titulo que ya tiene una decada y dudo mucho que vayan a sacar alguna continuacion, pero ya con solo esta entrega creo que hay suficiente ingenio para pasarse estos juegos al menos un par de veces, no ofrece demasiada rejugabilidad a menos que quieras agarrar todos los cristales al 100% pero el diseño de niveles, la ambientacion y lo divertidas que son sus mecanicas te deja un buen sabor despues de todo.
