Our life is always changing and this depends on how we choose to make the right choices to decide the direction our journey will follow. When we are young, we often make hasty decisions, putting our emotions ahead of reason and because of this, these choices end up being bad for our future and sometimes, life teaches us the hard way because of these bad choices.
When we grow up and are adults, we have a completely different vision and because of this, our experience requires a certain type of care and calm to know which will be the best path for us. In my case, I made a lot of mistakes when I was younger, but even though those choices from the past led me down a not-so-good path, I was able to learn a lot, because we can also learn from mistakes, even if it is not something that is so pleasant.
Choices that Change Our Life Completely
Today I have a beautiful and large family, as I have three children, two boys and one girl. As we are adults, we have to be wise in order to make the best possible choices, because in addition to me and my wife, we have to think about what is best for our children. I confess that it is not an easy task at certain times, but I have said to my children a few times that not everything goes the way we want and we have to learn to live with frustrations.
I believe that one of the biggest and most important choices I have made was to move to another state. I was born and raised in a state with low levels of education and security. Due to personal problems, my wife and I decided to move to another state and today, where we live, it is still not the phase we dreamed of living in, but I can say that it was the best thing we did. Nowadays, I ask my children if they would like to go back to where they were born and they don't want to. They have already gotten used to the new place.
Here where I live, everything is better in terms of education, health and safety. Of course, here in Brazil things are not so good, but compared to where I lived and grew up, I believe I made the right choice for myself, my wife and my children. Fortunately, I can say that after many days and nights of thinking, planning and trying to see all the possibilities that this could work out, I'm glad it did. But before, I was just hoping that this could be good for us, but we don't have a crystal ball to know in the future whether what we choose could be something good or bad, right?
Furthermore, not everything we plan works out, because unforeseen events or even problems that arise due to our bad choices will always arise, but what I can say is that we should never give up. Even if our choices are not working out in our lives, we have to be more patient and know how to make decisions more calmly, because as I said before, as a family man I have to know how to choose the best path for my family, so the responsibility is much greater, but I am already used to dealing with this burden.
Therefore, life changes us, the decisions we make in life shape us and the consequences can be good or bad, but everything will also depend on your perspective. From a young age we have to know how to deal with frustrations, because it is through them that we learn that we cannot get everything we want in life. I tell my children this and I hope they are prepared to know how to face the problems that will arise in their lives, because I will not always be around.

Nossa vida está sempre em constante mudança e isso depende de como escolhemos fazer as escolhas certas para decidir o rumo que nossa jornada seguirá. Quando somos jovens, tomamos decisões muitas vezes precipitadas, colocando mais a nossa emoção à frente da razão e por conta disso, essas escolhas acabam sendo ruins para o nosso futuro e às vezes, a vida nos ensina da maneira até mais difícil por conta dessas escolhas ruins.
Quando crescemos e somos adultos, temos uma visão completamente diferente e por conta disso, nossa experiência exige um certo tipo de cuidado e calma para sabermos qual será o melhor caminho para nós. No meu caso, errei bastante quando eu era mais jovem, mas apesar de que aquelas escolhas do passado me levaram a um caminho não tão bom, pude aprender bastante, pois com os erros também conseguimos aprender mesmo que isso não seja algo tão agradável.
Escolhas que Mudam Nossa Vida Completamente
Hoje possuo uma família linda e numerosa, pois tenho três filhos sendo dois meninos e uma menina e como somos adultos, temos que ter sabedoria para fazer escolhas da melhor forma possível, pois além de mim e minha esposa, temos que pensar no melhor para nossos filhos. Confesso que não é uma tarefa fácil em alguns determinados momentos, mas já disse algumas vezes para meus filhos que nem tudo é da maneira que queremos e temos que aprender a conviver com as frustrações.
Acredito que uma das maiores e mais importantes escolhas que tomei foi na mudança de estado. Nasci e cresci em um estado que o nível de educação e segurança são baixas. Por conta de problemas pessoais, eu e minha esposa resolvemos mudar de estado e hoje onde moramos, ainda não é a fase que sonhamos em viver, mas posso dizer que foi a melhor coisa que fizemos. Hoje em dia pergunto para meus filhos se eles gostariam de voltar onde eles nasceram e eles não querem. Já se acostumaram com o novo lugar.
Aqui onde moro é tudo melhor em termos de educação, saúde e segurança. É lógico que aqui no Brasil as coisas não estão tão boas, mas em comparação onde eu morava e cresci, acredito que fiz a escolha certa para mim, minha esposa e meus filhos. Felizmente posso dizer que em muitos dias e noites pensando, planejamento e tentando ver todas as possibilidades de que isso poderia dar certo, ainda bem que deu. Mas antes eu apenas estava torcendo que isso poderia ser bom para nós, mas não temos uma bola de cristal para saber do futuro se o que escolhemos pode ser algo bom ou ruim, não é mesmo?
Além disso, nem tudo que planejamos dá certo, pois sempre vão surgir os imprevistos ou mesmo os problemas que surgem por conta da nossa má escolha, mas o que posso dizer é que nunca devemos desistir. Por mais que nossas escolhas não estão dando certo em nossa vida, temos que ter mais paciência e saber decidir com mais calma, pois como eu disse antes, como pai de família tenho que saber escolher o melhor caminho para minha família então a responsabilidade é muito maior, mas esse fardo eu já estou acostumado a lidar.
Portanto, a vida nos transforma, as decisões que escolhemos na vida nos molda e as consequências podem ser boas e ruins, mas tudo vai depender também da sua perspectiva. Desde pequenos temos que saber lidar com as frustrações, pois é através delas que aprendemos que nem tudo na vida podemos conseguir o que queremos. Isso eu falo para os meus filhos e espero que eles estejam preparados para saber enfrentar os problemas que surgirá em suas vidas, pois nem sempre estarei por perto.
