Throughout our time in this world, we have experienced different moments, which vary between the extremes of sadness and happiness. This is natural and expected, so much so that we have become accustomed to living with the ups and downs of the different moments we go through.
We have become so accustomed that sometimes we experience small variations on "automatic". It is almost as if we no longer feel them, given the irrelevance of small bumps in the face of great emotional earthquakes. Do we stop noticing the little things?
Maybe.
We stop noticing people. We stop caring about people. And we stop thanking the people we live with and often support each other with. This post is about that!

To be able to recognize in others and in life the joys that are offered to us, we need to have a calm mind to take the first step, which is to see! To see, effectively perceive existence and pay attention. Seeing effectively is not just being able to use your perfect eyes to see, it is knowing that through them you perceive the world around you.
It is not going through life automatically, ignoring your surroundings.
After seeing people and the world you will be able to start noticing the small joys and benefits that you receive. The small kindnesses that exist in a good afternoon received by chance. That person who held the door for you to get to the elevator.
Every gesture received is an opportunity to make joy grow within you, and recognizing means being aware that you are grateful for it. And gratitude is exactly this recognition.
Feeling grateful is living in a state of acceptance that goes beyond being thankful for the good moments in your day. The difficult phase is being grateful for the inconveniences in life. To do this requires long work and a lot of patience with your own development.
For those who haven't gotten that far, like me:
Gratitude is being thankful for all the good things
that happen in our lives.
And it's hard enough to be grateful! It often seems like there's a barrier to accepting that something good can simply happen to us! Would it be unfair to receive a good deed? I don't know where this internal mechanism comes from that often rejects receiving something without giving anything in return.
Gratitude has nothing to do with returning favors, nor with feeling obligated to the people who help us.
Gratitude is just accepting what we receive.
Conclusion
It would be great if we could all notice the good things that happen naturally throughout our days and not focus on the unpleasant things. The antidote to sadness and depression may be within our reach, and all we need to do is change our focus to bring about a change in our lives and the way we relate to the world.
To those who hear us expressing gratitude, a seed is planted that can germinate if it falls on fertile soil.

Ao longo de nossa passagem por este mundo temos vivido momentos distintos, que variam entre os extremos da tristeza e felicidade. Isso é natural e esperado, tanto que nos acostumamos a conviver com os altos e baixos dos diferentes momentos que passamos.
Nos acostumamos tanto que por vezes passamos por pequenas variações no "automático". É quase como se nem sentíssemos mais dada a irrelevância dos pequenos solavancos frente aos grande terremotos emocionais. Deixamos de notar as pequenas coisas?
Talvez.
Deixamos de notar as pessoas. Deixamos de nos importar com as pessoas. E deixamos de agradecer as pessoas com as quais convivemos e muitas vezes nos apoiamos mutuamente. Essa postagem é sobre isso!

Para conseguir reconhecer no outro e na vida as alegrias que nos são oferecidas, é preciso ter a mente tranquila para efetuar o primeiro passo que é ver! Ver, efetivamente, perceber a existência e prestar atenção. Ver efetivamente não é apenas conseguir usar o sentido da visão com seus olhos perfeitos, é saber que através deles você percebe o mundo que o rodeia.
É não passar pela vida no automático, ignorando o seu entorno.
Depois de ver as pessoas e o mundo você poderá começar a perceber as pequenas alegrias e facilidades que recebe. As pequenas gentilezas que existem em um boa tarde recebido ao acaso. Aquela pessoa que segurou a porta para você alcançar o elevador.
Cada gesto recebido é uma oportunidade de fazer crescer a alegria dentro de você, e reconhecer significa ter consciência que você é grato por isso. E a gratidão é exatamente esse reconhecimento.
Sentir-se grato é viver em um estado de aceitação que vai além de agradecer aos bons momentos do seu dia. A fase difícil é ser grato pelos inconvenientes da vida. Para isso é necessário um longo trabalho e muita paciência com o seu próprio desenvolvimento.
Para aqueles que não chegaram tão longe, como eu:
Gratidão é agradecer por todas as coisas boas
que acontecem nas nossas vidas.
E já é difícil ser grato! Muitas vezes parece que existe uma barreira em aceitar que algo bom pode simplesmente acontecer para nós! Seria uma injustiça recebermos uma boa ação? Não sei de onde vem esse mecanismo interno que muitas vezes rejeita receber algo sem darmos nada em troca.
Gratidão não tem a ver com devolver favores, nem com ficar com obrigações para as pessoas que nos ajudam.
Gratidão é apenas aceitar o que recebemos.
Conclusão
Seria muito bom se todos nós conseguíssemos observar as coisas boas que acontecem naturalmente ao longo dos nossos dias e não ficarmos focando nas coisas desagradáveis. O antídoto para a tristeza e depressão pode estar ao nosso alcance e basta apenas mudar nosso foco para causar uma mudança em nossa vida e na maneiro como nos relacionamos com o mundo.
Aos que nos ouvem expressando gratidão, uma semente é plantada e pode germinar se cair em solo fértil.
