Recently Altcoin Season Index crossed the line and showed the start of a brand new Altcoin Season. We saw the last altcoin season back in August-September 2020. Another interesting thing is that we are going into altcoin territory pretty heavily. Previously the top of the index was 89 points and it was reached in the middle of the season. This time at the very start we already have 86 points! Does it mean we will see a longer Altcoin Season? I wonder how far the index can go this time.

It seems Grayscale Investments also check Altcoin Season Index. The data below shows recent buys. As you see Grayscale is not interested in buying BTC at the moment. Yet they are more than ready to get more altcoins. AS you see they are buying XLM, MANA, LPT, FIL, BAT and LINK. It will be interesting to watch their strategy with alts as altcoin season progresses.
