I can't believe it's already the weekend. I didn't even feel the time pass by. I guess my days have become so routine over the past week that everything just blurred together, and the days flew by without me noticing. Or maybe I was just so busy that every day felt exactly the same.
That was the thought running through my mind while I was riding the MRT today. And as I was thinking about it, I was also taking photos of the views from my window. I thought it was a fun little exercise, so I kept going until I was satisfied with the photos I had taken.
Later, I will compile all the photos and create a short video using CapCut. That app is great for adding effects to photos to make them more dynamic and exciting. And with background music, the video will turn out even better.
It really goes to show how far smartphones have come in terms of technology.
I remember my first phone was the Nokia 3310, something only '90s kids would probably recognize, haha. Millennials and Gen Z might not know much about it since they have only experienced today’s advanced smartphones.
That’s why I feel lucky to have experienced the so-called analog technologies of the past. And again, I can't believe how quickly the years have gone by, along with all the innovations that followed. Maybe sooner or later, interstellar travel will actually become possible. LOL. If I live long enough to witness that, I would say my generation is the luckiest of all. We have lived through the past and had a glimpse of the future too.
Reflecting on how fast time passes reminds me of how quickly technology evolves alongside it. From the simplicity of old phones to the power of today’s smartphones, it's amazing to see how far we've come. Experiencing both the past and present makes me excited—and hopeful—for what the future still has in store.
