Let’s get back to Kananaskis country, and resume our hike. This hike is called Prairie view trail, and this is the view from the highest point. Funny thing is, this prairie view is very mountainous. I suppose the reason this hike is called prairie view, is because we are inside Alberta, which is know as a “prairie province”. Typically Canada is known to have three prairie provinces: Manitoba, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. This part of Alberta is actually fairly close to the British Columbia border, which is just to the west. Anyways, back to the hike. Once at the summit area, it generally is fitting to grab a quick snack and refresh oneself, kick back a bit, soak up some rays and contemplate the return portion of the hike. Did you get a chance to do any good hiking last summer?
