
There are five major national parks in the Canadian Rockies (six if you include tiny Glacier park). Banff Park and Jasper Park are the largest, followed by Kootenay Park and Yoho Park, and finally Waterton Park down at Alberta’s border with the US. Some of the best trails and mountain scenery can also be found outside the national parks. For example: Kananaskis country which is east of Banff has tons excellent trails and magnificent views. Also just east of Kootenay there is the Nipika Mountain resort. Here are some of the photos I captured there. Thanks for stopping by.
